We’re married!
Guess what?
We’re married!
It was, to sum it up, the party of a lifetime.
Friends and family came together to celebrate us, and it could not have been more perfect. The only other occasion that might have brought this particular mish-mash of people together would have been my funeral, and I’m really, really glad I got to be there for it.
Of course there were stupid little things that bugged me the day of — mostly just that the DJ showed up with less-than-stellar sound equipment and a plywood board covered in SPRAY PAINTED FLAMES and his business name.
None of that, of course, really mattered.
Our wedding was also a celebration for my grandparents, whose 60th anniversary was two days after our big day.
It was an amazing day. I wish we could get married every weekend.
